CIRCULAR HIKES
Not everyone is immediately drawn towards Valais. That’s why Sunnbüel, in addition to the Gemmi Trail, also offers two nearby alternatives. Each taking about one-and-a-half hours, the two hikes nevertheless promise scenic highlights. While one route focuses on mysterious waters hidden in the coniferous forest, the other takes you on a voyage of discovery to the flora of the mountain world.
ARVENSEELI TRAIL
Walk to the three deep blue Arvenseeli – Arven Lakes – fed by melting snow in the Swiss pine forest. These can be admired from June to August.
STIEREBÄRGLI FLORA TRAIL
A circular, botanical walk through the “Stock-Sunnbüel” nature reserve. An easy, circular hike on a well-signposted trail, with only slight differences in altitude.
ARVENSEELI BARBECUE SITE
A beautiful barbecue site with a large grill, firewood and seating area is situated close to the Arvenseeli. This is especially suitable for families with children. You can also reach the barbecue site with a infant’s pushchair.
