WINTER TRAILS & SNOWSHOE HIKING
There is always a good reason for taking a walk in the snow – and there are plenty of starting points in and around Kandersteg. While some quieter trails begin in the village, other paths run high up beneath Wildstrubel or Gsür.
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
Perfectly prepared for classic, skating or a combination of the two styles. Dozens of trails make the Kander Valley a cross-country skiing paradise – including a wide valley basin, after-dark trails and a snow-sure plateau on Sunnbüel.
SKI TOURING
Comfortable curves and great views characterise the family ski resorts of Oeschinen and Sunnbüel. While Oeschinien boasts a children’s park, Sunnbüel is also known for alpine ski tours. (TBD)
